  • What are the terms and conditions of delivery?

    Below are the El Corte Inglés terms and conditions of delivery: Fashion, accessories, watches, books, music, film and video game products can be delivered to any destination, whether in Spain or in the rest of the world, except for Venezuela, Russia, Cuba and Argentina.

    Electronics, home furnishings, computer technology, sport, suitcases, wine and baby products can be delivered to destinations within the European Union (not including large electrical appliances, which can only be sent to delivery areas that appear when you select the item). Before completing the order, bear in mind that some items may not be valid in specific countries due to their characteristics, voltage, network type, etc.

    Gift card orders can only be delivered to addresses in mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands.

    Jewellery orders can only be delivered to addresses in mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands.

    Flower, fruit basket and new-born gift basket orders can only be delivered to addresses in mainland Spain.

    We do not deliver orders to PO Boxes.

    The following information will be of use to you before purchasing certain types of products:

    • FILM AND DVDs: In Spain, the PAL system is used for broadcasting videos, and so all films for sale require DVD/video players that support this system.
    • VIDEO GAMES: Video games for use with non-portable console devices (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, etc.) only work with PAL system televisions and consoles. Video games for use with portable consoles (Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, PS Vita, etc.) only work with PAL system consoles. PlayStation 4 video games work on any the system.
    • Films, CDs, video games or other products that can be immediately copied may only be exchanged for another identical product.
    • WINE: The sale of alcohol to under-18-year-olds is strictly prohibited.
    • PERFUMES: Fragrances containing alcohol cannot be delivered to some destinations (see Delivery and returns on product page).
    • BICYCLES: Bicycles are delivered in their original packaging, and so will need to be adjusted before they are used.
    • WEAPONS: Orders can only be processed following receipt of the required valid documentation (photocopy of National ID Document and Arms Licence of the person registering the weapon). Deliveries are restricted to mainland Spain and payment may not be made in cash.
    • PRE-SALES: Using our online store, you will be able to pre-order a number of products before they are up for sale. In these cases, your order will not be able to be dispatched before the launch date established by the corresponding companies (these dates may be modified by companies without prior notice).
    • CHRISTMAS HAMPERS: Christmas Hampers can only be delivered to addresses in mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands.
    • GIFT CARDS: Due to the characteristics of the Gift Card, joint orders cannot be made with different types of products.

  • How long does it take to deliver my order?

    The delivery time is from 4 to 10 working days for all products except mattresses, bed bases and storage beds: maximum 15 working days.

  • Which products cannot be returned?

    Nearly all products can be returned as long as they have not been used, are in perfect condition, and include all their accessories, documents and original packaging. However, there are some exceptions to the right of withdrawal. Returns are not applicable to:


    • The provision of services once the service has been completed or when it has begun, with the prior express consent of the consumer and user, and with their recognition that they are aware that, once the contract has been entirely fulfilled by the company, they will have lost their right of withdrawal.


    • The supply of goods or provision of services whose price depends on the fluctuations of the financial market, which are beyond the control of the company and which occur during the withdrawal period.


    • The supply of goods made to the specifications of the consumer and user or clearly customised (For example: Weapons, furniture, made-to-measure clothing, custom clothing such as sports T-shirt with names, etc.).


    • The supply of goods that can perish or expire quickly (For example: Food, flowers, fruit baskets, etc.).


    • The supply of sealed goods that may not be returned due to health protection or hygiene reasons and whose seals have been broken after their delivery (For example: Earrings, all beauty items, toiletries, cosmetics, personal hygiene, hair accessories, underwear, tights, and all body products).


    • The supply of goods that, after delivery and due to their nature, have become irrecoverably mixed with other goods.


    • The supply of alcoholic drinks whose price was agreed at the time of formalising the sale contract and yet could not be delivered earlier than 30 days later, and whose real value depends on the fluctuations of the financial market, which are beyond the control of the company.


    • Contracts in which the consumer and user specifically requested that the company provide urgent repair or maintenance operations; if, during this visit, the company provides additional services to those specifically requested by the consumer or supplies goods other than the replacement parts needed for the repairs or maintenance, the right of withdrawal shall apply to these additional services or goods.


    • The supply of sealed audio or video media or sealed computer software which have been unwrapped by the consumer and user after delivery.


    • The supply of digital content which is not provided in a physical medium when its execution has begun with the prior express consent of the consumer and user, when they are aware that this means losing the right of withdrawal.
